Liked: Very pleasant décor, everything was just right. Spacious and clean with extra touches like complementary breakfast and free coffee in the room. Top shower, too.The very friendly host was very easy to contact throughout, was present when we arrived and offered to give us any tips and advance on Messina and Sicily we may have needed.Highly recommended.

Liked: A beautifully appointed, spacious room with high quality bathroom facilities. Our host was there to greet us and very helpful with restaurant recommendations. We arrived later due to a delay to our train but this was no problem for Angelo. He communicated very well with us prior to our arrival. Messina is well worth a visit with plenty to see and do, we'd have liked more time!

Liked: My partner and I booked Dolce Vita last minute as we were traveling from the Amalfi to Cefalu and needed and stop over night in Messina. Dolce Vita exceeded our expectations in multi ways - 1. The location was in a very cool location surrounded by great places to eat and shop as well as close to the train station and the city centre. 2 the room was perfect for what we needed. Very clean and large and the aircon was lovely and cold in the hot day and night we were there. Also the shared kitchen with coffee etc was a bonus and very welcome as was the breakfast in the next door cafe. 3 lastly, our host Angelo was fantastic. He was a great communicator from start to finish, gave us very good advice for drinks and dinner and even drove us to the train station in the morning which was lovely ! He is a real gentleman and very friendly, happy and positive. Thank you Angelo. All in all, for the price, this was a great stay and a place we would recommend to our friends and family.
