District 3 Hotel Ascend Hotel Collection

The beds were extremely comfortable; really clean; nice, modern decor. I would definitely stay here again.

Disliked: Bathrooms were very nice, but a little small.

Hotel was close to our other events, but not really a good neighborhood.

Liked: A/C worked good; breakfast was good.
Disliked: No place to hang clothes; HBO guide was 2 months old; no table; one chair; bed creaked loudly enough to wake us up; key card didn't work on the second day; ongoing construction not shown on website; pool being redone; bath room badly designed; sharp metal edge between tile and carpet; no curtains; no cover over exposed wires; no dead bolt on our door to adjoining room, which a guest tried to come through at 6a.m.

Disliked: The amenities listed were not available. The only reason we stayed there and encouraged the rest of our traveling party to book there as well was for the pool.Upon arrival the hotel was under massive reconstruction.The pool was empty, the continental breakfast was not available. The elevators didn’t work and everything was covered in dust and filthy.

Family Vacation

Liked: The bed was extremely comformable and the shower was fantastic. All staff I cam in contact with were very friendly and helpful!
Disliked: No breakfast and no swimming pool. The swimming pool was a main reason for booking here and there was no notification that it was not available until we arrived this was disappointing to the children.

Stay somewhere else

Liked: The coffee.
Disliked: The pool was out of service, and the hotel breakfast wasn’t available at all. The room was dirty, and I had to switch rooms because my door wouldn’t shut or lock properly. To make matters worse, there weren’t enough towels for four people.

Disappointing

Disliked: This property is completely under renovation. When I booked it had a pool, and free breakfast. They had nothing. The pool is a mud pit and no food. They also took the payment from my debit card when I paid by another card.

Never again!

Liked: We booked an accessible Room, because my Wife is permanently in a Wheelchair. As we arrived they just told us, that this Room isn‘t available because of Renovation!! We need such a Room and they could have informed us before, so we would have been able to look for an other Hotel. The Person at the Reception didn‘t boder at all about our Problem. Never again in this Hotel. This belongs to the Hilton Group and we are Member there, but now we are going to book other Brands in Future.

Disliked: It was still completely under renovation even though the description said otherwise. The area around the hotel seemed sketchy.
