District 3 Hotel Ascend Hotel Collection

The beds were extremely comfortable; really clean; nice, modern decor. I would definitely stay here again.

Disliked: Bathrooms were very nice, but a little small.

Hotel was close to our other events, but not really a good neighborhood.

Liked: A/C worked good; breakfast was good.
Disliked: No place to hang clothes; HBO guide was 2 months old; no table; one chair; bed creaked loudly enough to wake us up; key card didn't work on the second day; ongoing construction not shown on website; pool being redone; bath room badly designed; sharp metal edge between tile and carpet; no curtains; no cover over exposed wires; no dead bolt on our door to adjoining room, which a guest tried to come through at 6a.m.

Satisfactory for what we needed.

Liked: Bed was comfortable and location was good for our trip.
Disliked: Hotel was a little on the rundown side. Needs updating.

Liked: This hotel is a building site with builders everywhere, no facilities, no pool as it is being completely renovated and is a health and safety hazard. I'm sure it will be wonderful after renivations have been completed. The staff were helpful and completely understood when we cancelled our booking on arrival and had to find another hotel. However Booking.com have not answered any of my emails directly and despite telling them we cancelled our booking have still sent me this to review! So please be aware this hotel is not what you see advertised

Comfortable beds and clean facilities.

Liked: The room was great. The beds were so comfortable. Everything was clean and fresh even with the ongoing renovations on the bottom floor. The staff was attentive and friendly. The afternoon staff gave us a recommendation for a restaurant nearby that was awesome. Thanks for that.
Disliked: There was a group in one room on the 4th floor screaming and arguing from about 2 am to 4 am. Up and down the hall constantly. Loudly disturbing the whole floor. One of them was riding a bicycle up & down the hall while arguing & using foul language. No sleep after that & very scary.

Disappointing

Disliked: No coffee pot, drinking cups, microwave, tissues. TV kept losing the signal . No cold water in the sink.

Not as advertised

Liked: It was advertised as having free breakfast. When we got there, they were remodeling. Therefore they were not offering the free breakfast. They refused to offer any compensation for the lack of advertised breakfast.

Disliked: The place was being remodeled and breakfast was not available as advertised on the site. I wished I would've known before hand. Other than that everything was fine.
