Liked: The cabins were in a good location and were self contained with everything needed to cook meals. The bar was a lovely place to chill out with a very cosy feel and games to play, our 2 year old loved going there and playing with the toys and we loved chilling with a wine and hot chocolate. The bar staff were also great and polite.
Disliked: The staff were terrible! Not all of them but we came across more bad than good. Check in staff were lovely. However on the website they say to ask staff about things to do and they can advise you, so we took a walk down to reception shop was told “go to the information centre.”We also called the restaurant for a booking and asked the lady on the phone where is the restaurant, she said at discovery parks, so we asked where and she said next to reception. Which is also very untrue and had us walking around with a 2 year old in the cold and dark looking for it. The next morning we get up and go to the same restaurant for a morning coffee and asked the female staff member who does breakfast, she replied with “I don’t know” so we went on a half an hour drive looking for a cafe. Turns out the information centre across the road has a cafe and does breakfast which we didn’t find out till the next day. By far the most unhelpful group of people I have ever come across. Our meals were also served cold.The bunkbed room in the cabins were freezing, the double room had electric blankets and was warmed by the heater but there was no way of heating the kids room and our 2 year old work up every night crying she’s freezing and ended up in bed in her day time warm clothes (she refused to sleep with us as she loved the bunk beds) the toilet is also situated in the kids room, I am 8 months pregnant so it wasn’t an idea location as she woke every time I got up for the toilet.

Liked: The deluxe cabin was beautiful. Warm and cosy. The cabin was very clean. Excellent cooking facilities in the cabin. Waking up to snow was magnificent. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Disliked: Nothing.
