Disappointed for the price. I...

Liked: The location was nice, and I liked the pond. The room was remodeled and clean.
Disliked: The entrance was not marked well and easy to miss. The balcony on room 202 feels like there are rotten boards and soft. Paint was peeling. The breakfast was very limited and set up on a very small counter. Everyone was crowding. Decided to get coffee and go somewhere else. Microwave quit working while I was using it. I did not have time to wait for someone to fix it, but reported it at check out. There was no full length mirror for getting ready. The only mirror was over the sink in the tiny bathroom. I expected more for the price I paid.

Liked: Location, view, cleanliness, was allowed to bring pet.
Disliked: Room was small for price, had a pleasant interaction when checking in but a few weeks prior to stay I had travelled to Estes from my home in Ft Collins and asked if I could see an empty, un rented room to get an idea of the value and I was told I could look at pictures online. I did not think my request was unreasonable since I would not be invading anyone’s privacy by seeing an un rented, open room and I was disappointed with the reason given by staff. Was a missed opportunity for staff to go above and beyond with the customer service.

Disappointed, left and went home.

Liked: Check-in was easy, staff was nice.
Disliked: The beds and pillows were awful, uncomfortable. We actually checked in and left for home an hour later because there was no way We would have slept comfortably on that bed. If they got new beds and comfortable new pillows it would make all the difference. The chair in the room had a big metal piece sticking out of it.

Liked: It's good because it's close to the tourist destination.
Disliked: There are a lot of bugs. The morning staff has an uncomfortable attitude. They frown and yell at customers.

Liked: The view of the mountains was absolutely stunning — waking up to that scenery was unforgettable. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax after a day of exploring. The location is incredibly convenient, especially if you're planning to visit Rocky Mountain National Park — it's just a short drive away.
Disliked: There were a couple of things that could have been better. Our room did not have an iron, and even though we stayed for five nights, we never received one despite requesting it. Also, breakfast started rather late at 7:00 AM, which didn’t work well for us since our timed entry reservations for Rocky Mountain National Park were between 5:00 and 7:00 AM. We had to prepare our own breakfast each morning, which was a bit inconvenient.
