Reception staff were very friendly. Room was clean and spacious but the stay was spoilt as in the room above was a very rowdy group who thought it was fun to jump on the bed and run around the room shouting and screaming! We tried to ring reception but the phone didn't work so we went and asked them to go and have a word! It did calm down for a while but they continued to make a noise until at least 4am so we had very little sleep!

Budget hotel; BUT... room large; clean all through the hotel; good security; very helpful staff - interested in our stay. Only one fault - only one pillow per bed, and no spares, but then these may have been available had we asked. We would, and have, recommended this hotel.

The hotel was spotlessly clean - stairs and reception. Room was great - only one loose hinge on the bathroom door. Breakfast room was great - clean and good buffet food, just needed a little incidental music to give a little more atmosphere.

Disliked: Definitely needs new pillows on the bed and more than one pillow. The noise was awful! We could hear next door talking and then the banging and rolling of stuff. Not sure if they were doing work or what they were doing but it was awful. From half 7 am rolling, banging of metal was wild even with windows closed. Shower was also pathetic like, could have had better pressure and one minute it was scolding hot next it was freezing.

Great location hotel

Liked: Great location 5 mins from train station and city centre shops. Room had everything you could need. Was quiet at night .
Disliked: Double bed was very crinkly and sounded like it was a crisp packet .

Absolute awful

Disliked: We had no hot running water, the floor is uneven and lumpy. Rooms not properly cleaned as found nicotine pouches under bedsheets and pillows and presented with one towel to split between 4 of us. Window barely opens and no AC meaning the room was scorching 24/7. Like going through a maze trying to find our room, no direct elevator. 260 quid for a room worse than a bin.
