Reception staff were very friendly. Room was clean and spacious but the stay was spoilt as in the room above was a very rowdy group who thought it was fun to jump on the bed and run around the room shouting and screaming! We tried to ring reception but the phone didn't work so we went and asked them to go and have a word! It did calm down for a while but they continued to make a noise until at least 4am so we had very little sleep!

Budget hotel; BUT... room large; clean all through the hotel; good security; very helpful staff - interested in our stay. Only one fault - only one pillow per bed, and no spares, but then these may have been available had we asked. We would, and have, recommended this hotel.

The hotel was spotlessly clean - stairs and reception. Room was great - only one loose hinge on the bathroom door. Breakfast room was great - clean and good buffet food, just needed a little incidental music to give a little more atmosphere.

Good central place to stay

Liked: Good points for this hotel: The friendly staff, the comfortable bed, the thick fluffy bath towels, and the cleanliness of the room. The hotel was also very central, close to the train station, shops, pubs and restaurants, all within walking distance.
Disliked: The shower could have been better. And although I expected to be noisy, there was a very loud noise from an adjacent building that really disturbed the sleep (not the hotel's fault though), so if staying in a back room, ensure to take ear plugs
