very very good
Liked: The room was beautiful and spacious, but I had specifically booked a larger one.The breakfast wasn’t great – quite small – but that’s common in Italy. The woman wasn’t very polite, but that’s okay for me.
Disliked: The location is a bit sketchy, but it's okay. Inside, it's beautiful.A typical Italian neighborhood where regular locals live. Don’t be scared by the outside.

We would certainly recommend this...
Liked: We loved staying here. Cristina is a great host, all her recommendations were top! She took time to give us the locals’ suggestions and I am happy we got to experience more than just the touristic Firenze. The place was very clean (in the real sense of the word from the dictionary, not just okay clean). The location was ok for us as it is just next to the touristy center, a 30 minute walk from the dome. The entire building is historical, the design keeps the character alive.

Great host and lovely rooms.
Liked: We had a very spacious room with beautiful antique furniture and facilities. Marco, our host, was very welcoming and spent a lot of time on our arrival explaining the local area, restaurants and public transport, which was easily accessible approximately 250 metres walk away. He also gave us a great map of Florence and put all the relevant information on it. The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented.
Disliked: The residence (B&B) is on the first floor, up a flight of steps, with no lift. Although this was not an issue for us, it should be taken into consideration for guests with mobility problems.

Recommend very much.
Liked: A short walk from the hustle & bustle of central Florence, this B&B just south of the Arno River is a perfect retreat for that afternoon nap or when you need nighttime silence. Inside the unassuming front doors, you’ll find a quaint yet luxurious domicile with high ceilings, chandeliers, and original frescos dating back ~200 years. The rooms are charming, with decadent furniture, ornate window curtains, and traditional Italian shutters. The wallpaper is necessarily Florentine, flowery and thin, and FYI, so are the walls… but hey, we didn’t mind. Ever wondered what it’s like to have an Italian aunt and uncle? You’ll find out here too. The cute couple will welcome you with helpful suggestions and apologies for talking for your ears off. They even sit down with you and mark out (on a map they supply) everything you could want to see or eat. Every morning, they personally cater the most delightful breakfast too and take your coffee or tea orders with relaxed—yet meticulous—attention to detail. Honestly, it was the meal and conversation we looked forward to most every day. You also have access to a lovely rooftop terrace with a view of the city domes. Almost makes you not want to leave each morning and just spend your time lounging around. Recommend very much.

Beautiful room
Liked: The room was indeed special, it felt like you are sleeping in a royal palace, beautifully painted. The owner was very kind and offered us a lot of tips about the city.
Disliked: The breakfast because it was very light.
