Return to Worcester

Disliked: Breakfast .a full English consisted of 1 sausage 1 slice of bacon.1 hash brown .half a small slice of black pudding .a poached egg and a small steel cup of beans,which was a spoonful in quantity . really didn't warrant the price some of our group went to Gregg's the bakery instead .....on return to hotel after being out in town we had to provide proof of residency and show room key and name and could not pay for drinks requested with cash or card and could only charge them too our rooms.have stayed in Worcester a few times in the last 10years and have noticed a decline in the quality of the pubs and hotels .

Liked: That it accepts dogs. Staff were really friendly to us and our dog. Dog basket and bowls in the room and a doggy breakfast was includedFood was lovely
Disliked: Slight bit of noise from the private party

Liked: Good clean decoration of the room. Excellent choice of breakfast. I left something in the room and they quickly contacted me os I got it back easily.Lovely view over the Rivet Severn so we could watch the rowers and Swans.from the room.Very close to the Cathedral and the oldest part of Worcester so excellent for history fans.
Disliked: Guessing the room was newly painted and the mirror over the dressing table had been replaced but so high you had to be 7ft to see your face when sitting. They also needed a light there. For make up

Enjoyed our stay but things...

Liked: Lovely old building in a great location , easy walking distance to the centre of Worcester. Staff polite and very helpful . Breakfast was lovely , nice choice of continental, homemade granola was delicious, hot food freshly cooked as made to order but again was delicious. Car parking available but the size of car park isn’t big and access road to the hotel can get congested. The room was a bit dated.
Disliked: Paid extra for a river/garden view which yes we kind of got as the room was at the side of the building but the view was obscured by the tv on the table which was a shame as when you looked around the tv the view from the window was lovely. Only tea/coffee had to ask for herbal tea/hot chocolate as my wife doesnt drink tea /coffee, was given herbal tea as had no chocolate but would have been nice to have it in the room already. The bathroom wall has a couple of small holes that need filling and painting. There were no beakers in the bathroom for rinsing after brushing. Ceiling light in bathroom has a large crack in the shade.
