Why Concert-goers love it

Diamond Lodge makes concert night simple. You're only a short taxi ride from Manchester City FC's Etihad Stadium and other key venues. After the show, getting back is easy with late-night transport options nearby. Plus, the hotel’s peaceful atmosphere is ideal for winding down after a loud night. Flexible check-in from 14:00 and a relaxed check-out at 11:00 means you’re not rushed.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends heading to gigs together

Late-night munchies? The vibrant lounge bar serves light snacks and drinks, and the bistro menu offers evening dining options. You’ll also wake up to a hearty full English breakfast, perfect after a late night. While 24/7 room service isn’t available, the on-site restaurant has extended evening hours.

Nightlife Options

What People Say

Guests love the friendly staff, spotlessly clean rooms, and the excellent value for money. Many highlight the easy parking and how convenient it is for reaching concerts and events without paying city-center prices.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests mention that the decor feels a little dated in places, and the hotel is a bit out of the city center — but the quick drive or taxi ride usually makes up for it.

The Bottom Line

If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable base near Manchester’s top venues, Diamond Lodge is a smart choice for concert-goers.

Disliked: Nothing came to mind.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Jane, Selly Park, visiting Co-op Live Manchester Mon, 3 June 2024

Liked: Breakfast.
Disliked: Unfortunately our room was nothing like the room advertised on your website. It was dingy, not very clean and smelled musty/mouldy. Definitely not worth £125 for one night. There was no time to complain as we were in a rush to get to the Eagles concert. Had we being staying for more than one night we would have asked for a room change. Room 216 badly in need of a complete refurbishment.

A decent place to stay if going to the Co-op Live; about a 50min walk to the venue.

Disliked: Needs updating.
