Would be a good budget...

Liked: Great location in a beautiful historic hotel.
Disliked: The room was very small and very very warm. The staff did not seem very interested in our comfort. There was a fan but it barely worked. It was okay but not for the price.

Great location, lacking in other...

Liked: The location was top notch, breakfast was good and plentiful, and the building was very historically interesting.
Disliked: No A/C in the room, hit my head on low ceilings, overnight staff wasn't friendly or helpful.

Liked: Location to visit old town great. Easy access to buses and flybuss great. Would recommend hotel to others.

Shabby, not chic. Old and...

Liked: The location is all that it has going for it. Nothing else to recommend it.
Disliked: old and run down. Peeling wall paper, torn carpet and fabric on chairs. There is no lift to the top floors and no one offered to help with luggage. Cleaning supplies and vacuum cleaners are lining the hallways. The wifi did not work in the rooms. It was in a great location for tourist shopping and the funicular, but that's all that is good about it. The breakfast options were disappointing and embarrassing by European standards. For the price point, there are other nicer hotels in the area.
