Destiny Student - Shrubhill (Campus Accommodations) is located only 10 minutes' walk from the tram stop bus station and Waverley train station this purpose-built student campus accommodations offers guests a central base in Edinburgh. There are numerous bars and restaurants in the East End of the New Town and shopping at the St. James Centers all within a few minutes' walk of the property. The property offers double rooms with attached bathroom with shared kitchen and living areas. Private apartments are available for larger groups or families. Studios with private bathrooms and private kitchen and living areas are also available. All rooms are en-suite with 47 in-wide small double beds fresh linen access to kitchen facilities and living areas with a TV. Guests can make use of free WiFi access throughout the building games room and a pay-as-you-go laundry facility. Simple key fob entry throughout the building. Staff are on hand 24 hours a day to provide information on the building and the local area.

Good place

Liked: Nice small room 20 minutes walk from city centre. There is kitchen where it is possible to make some food. Staff are welcoming and helpful.
Disliked: It seems that there are no air conditioning, was hot and lack of fresh air in the room and in the corridor. Not possible to open the window wide.

Affordable but very basic

Liked: It is one of the cheapest you can find in a very expensive city, but it's very basic.
Disliked: The bathroom was dirty.
