Destiny Student - Shrubhill (Campus Accommodations) is located only 10 minutes' walk from the tram stop bus station and Waverley train station this purpose-built student campus accommodations offers guests a central base in Edinburgh. There are numerous bars and restaurants in the East End of the New Town and shopping at the St. James Centers all within a few minutes' walk of the property. The property offers double rooms with attached bathroom with shared kitchen and living areas. Private apartments are available for larger groups or families. Studios with private bathrooms and private kitchen and living areas are also available. All rooms are en-suite with 47 in-wide small double beds fresh linen access to kitchen facilities and living areas with a TV. Guests can make use of free WiFi access throughout the building games room and a pay-as-you-go laundry facility. Simple key fob entry throughout the building. Staff are on hand 24 hours a day to provide information on the building and the local area.

Edinburgh is a great city...

Liked: The staff were all fabulous. Tram close by to get to city (day ticket for bus /tram 5.5pounds.) Tram goes to airport, very convenient, there is only one tram route so you know you are on the right one from/to airport. They run frequently.Buses close too.Lots of food options, bakers, bars and supermarkets close by.
Disliked: Mattress not very comfortableWater just hot enough (penny pinching)No bedside lamproom hot, had to borrow a fan Towels are thin (more penny pinching)There is a TV in the kitchen but not a comfortable space to be in due to heat, room was somewhat depressing.

Very nice stay

Liked: Nice staff and everything tidy. Near the city centre and the tram and bus stops. Very nice stay.
