Pick DeSoto!

Liked: Friendliness of everyone there. The free breakfast was great and the closeness to the beach was amazing. This was our 2nd time there and loved it.
Disliked: Wish there was a washer and dryer somewhere, which we didn't ask either lol. The bathrooms are a little small but that's not a big deal. Will DEFINITELY stay again.

We wanted a little getaway...

Liked: The beach access was great, just as advertised. It was nice having coffee and a roll in the morning without having to drive or walk some place.
Disliked: The facility is a little dated and could use an interior designer. The coffee in the room was not nearly as good as at the breakfast bar (which was excellent BTW). We found some clothing articles left in a drawer by the previous occupant and the room coffee was not replaced the second day.

Good place for the money...

Liked: The location to the beach and things to do was perfect! Staff was very friendly and helpful as well.
Disliked: The pool was tiny and the pillows were terrible (the mattress was super comfy).

Pleasant

Liked: The location and parking were very good. The staff (4 people at front desk) were very friendly and answered my questions in a helpful way.
Disliked: The bed linens were coarse and the towels were too. I ask about getting a towel to use at the pool. I was told I would have to buy one. I declined and that's ridiculous. For the price of the room it had a balcony facing the dumpsters...not good. The hot water was off and on. The best part was the nice staff.
