Liked: Location! It is within 10- 15 minutes walk to the river and cathedral. 20 minutes walk to the train station. The staff is very polite and helpful. Breakfast is wonderful with their two options of cold and cooked breakfast, many good delicious choices!. We got a room on the second floor with an ensuite. It was a comfortable and not too loud if you close the window. The place is clean and welcoming.
Disliked: The size of the room was a little bit too small, but If you travel with a carry on and a backpack , your luggage will fit well.

Liked: The staff was very Nice. Breakfast very tasty. The bed quite confortable.
Disliked: Room had all the minimum things that we need, bathroom was quite small. Price was high if I compare the Hotels in Ireland

Liked: Brilliant location and brilliant breakfast. It's quite central, so if you're exploring Galway town I'd recommend it. .

Homey and friendly stay

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is cooked to order and tasty. The room was spacious. I really liked that it was in a residential area which was a little more peaceful, but still only about 5-10 minutes' walk to restaurants, pubs, and the shore, and 10-15 minutes' walk to the center. It was homey rather than fancy.
Disliked: We were in the front of the house on the ground floor and the traffic noise was a little loud. I think a room towards the back would be perfect.

Liked: Breakfast was delicious, very tasty and great selection of food. Location was perfect, short distance to Eyre Square.
Disliked: Everything was perfect.

Liked: Location is ideal. Just a short 10 minute walk to the centre. Desota is very well maintained. Very clean. The breakfasts were outstanding. Great variety and superb quality. We were at Desota for three nights & enjoyed our stay.
Disliked: It is on a busy road so some might find the traffic noise a nuisance. A bum point we know but the toilet paper is very thin. One can always double it up!!
