Desert Rose Resort

Pleasant

Liked: I like that the resort is off the busy strip but not too far from it as long as you have a vehicle to get around. The few amenities on-site like a pool and a bar was a good touch to the place along with the friendly night staff. This is truly great spot for families or larger groups who want to save on resort fees and eating out by bringing their own items.
Disliked: The resort is on the older side and it does appear that a more thorough maintenance is needed for things such as door knobs and bolts and even the changing of carpet to tile or wood. I came in on a red eye and was ready to just go to sleep but my initial suite had a faulty door lock and wouldn't allow for me to close the door. The staff quickly move me to a next suite but upon review I can see that it wasn't thoroughly vacuum and wiped down but I walk with mini cleaning supplies for scenarios such as this. I also would have liked more common items in the suite like a shower cap, a complimentary water and a kettle to make tea as I don't drink coffee.

Liked: I liked the setup, I do wish that the restroom in the room wasnt through the bedroom but other than that everything else was nice from the room itself, to the kitchen and the living room. I loved how we weren't far away from anywhere for the most part and we felt safe and at home in the room.
Disliked: I will say that the drain in the shower was pretty slow, I will say that is something that should definitely be checked out if anything cause for the amount of folks staying with us, it was annoying and gross waiting for the dirty water to go down the drain.

Liked: very nice appartments en close to the strip. enough parkingspace. we will come back when we go Las Vegas.

Liked: Very good position! Close enough to the strip, but very quiet. Apartments are quite big, swimming pool available and gym.

The best place just off...

Liked: The hotel is well positioned off the strip away from the main hustle and bustle but close enough to the MGM and the monorail that it is well placed. There is ample space to cook but also a Denny's round the corner of you just want someone to do the cooking for you!
Disliked: There are some bits around daily room changing that aren't really shared until you are at the hotel. However it didn't matter to us and anything we wanted as extra the hotel staff happily shared.
