Very clean rooms, excellent staff....

Liked: Very nice place to stay in Alice.Beautiful clean rooms, staff were amazing! Nothing was too much trouble and the late check out option was an excellent service! This is where I will stay anytime I’m in Alice Springs!

Nice family choice and welcoming...

Liked: Nice place for families with great welcoming staff, a nice swimming pool, a laundry and nice little cottages.
Disliked: About 25min walk to town, good enough but only once a day with kids!

Liked: - bungalow was basic, but all fine- there is a small pool area- little shop at the reception- the hotel is connected to a golf club, which has a restaurant and bar

Disliked: The water in the shower smelt a bit

It’s definitely our favourite family...

Liked: We have stayed at the Desert Palms Alice Springs in the past and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is great, very clean and tidy, the staff are friendly and they have great facilities such as the pool, laundry room and BBQ area. The property has an automatic code gate at night and well secured. There is a coded back gate if you wish to go to the golf club for a hit of golf or for a meal. We enjoyed sitting on our private balcony enjoying a quiet beverage whilst enjoying the lovely weather.

Great for a short stay...

Liked: Great location, cute cabins and a nice atmosphere. Safe and secure

Liked: Design of the buildings, good quiet rooms, good kitchen.
Disliked: Fly screen lock had no key, would be nice to lock that and leave the door open overnight.

A quiet place to stay...

Liked: The rooms and other facilities are very adequate. It's great to have the golf club restaurant a short walk next door. Although a little out of town, there is public transport and many were happy to walk. The advantage is that this is a quiet location. We didn't use the pool area but others did and it looked very inviting. Great that you can buy simple supplies, including beer and wine, at reception.
Disliked: On our 3 day stay, the room was not serviced at all - small things like milk and sugar for tea and coffee.
