Lovely overnighter in a smart...
Liked: Room was large with nice views over the countryside. Lovely comfortable beds. Excellent shower. Decor throughout the hotel was excellent. Lovely meal in the restaurant in the evening which again was very elegantly decorated.
Disliked: Can't think of anything.

Okay. Very expensive for the...
Liked: Good location. Rooms were a decent size
Disliked: Too hot and you couldn’t control the temperature in the rooms. They were set to as cold as possible. Pool was murkyStaff were not that friendly. On arrival the receptionist chatted to her friends for a good two minutes before even acknowledging us. Expensive menu and no healthy options at all - no salads

Very comfortable with excellent food...
Liked: The property is very spacious and the decor is not our taste, it is also a little tired , however other factors made it great. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food is excellent.
Disliked: The decor!

Great weekend away
Liked: Great hotel with beautiful views. Clean and spacious room, nice warm swimming pool. Spacious family friendly bar area. Complements to breakfast chef and staff in Prego restaurant. Breakfast was beautifully cooked. We've had an amazing dinner on Saturday night at Prego, food was delicious, service was great. Very good choice of the gluten free child friendly food on the menu was a big bonus. Our boy was the happiest from all of the choice of food he had. We've been a little bit unlucky this time, but would definitely come back, as in general it was a lovely stay, hotel is beautiful and staff is a credit. Reception lady on our arrival was lovely same for swimming pool receptionist , breakfast and dinner chefs and staff and Lucas from the bar. Well done
Disliked: Think we were just a little bit unlucky. On the day we arrived we had a dinner at Antler bar and the fire alarm went off. We had to get out not once but twice. When we finally got back our food arrived and it was not the warmest. With my husband being a chef we understood that it is not anyones fault and just asked to put his meal and our son meal to the microwave to just warm it up. However our youngest boy, gluten free pizza must have been already done twice because it arrived stone hard and cheese was literally dark brown. Should not send out pizza . We've asked for a burger instead just plain no chips salads or anything. Had to wait 20 minutes and when the burger arrived it was the size of them mini party burgers, but he was hungry and happy to eat some food finally. Still we were charged for the burned pizza. Cannot comment on the room cleaning service as our room was not serviced. We've greeted the staff on the corridor and left around 9am. We got back at 4 pm and the room was how we've left it. With 4 of us after trip boys had some J2Os in the room and bins were quite full, just in general when you get away for a weekend and pay the price it would be just nice to come back to a nice clean hotel room and not have to do it yourself for once. Guess I was the most disappointed one. Next day in reception they had the info that the sign was out on the door. It was until 9 am. When we left me and my son took it off. There was no sign from 9am till 4pm and the room should have been serviced!! Saturday night after beautiful meal in the restaurant we went to the bar. Boys were playing billiards My husband went to the bar to get me some G&T there were 3 staff members there and told him he couldn't get any because they've run out of ice. It was Saturday 9 pm and not that busy.
