its the little things

Liked: I stayed last year and was more than happy to stay again, the automatic check inn, appeared to save time. My room was well equipped and very comfortable however the TV could only stream channels which may confuse some guests. Both the bar and restaurant were busy and popular. Pizza was lovely and the pizza oven station was clearly busy. Excellent cheese board.
Disliked: I wanted to treat myself to a restaurant meal on the last night, i asked the breakfast team to make the booking but this was not passed on. The restaurant meal was underwhelming from my previous stay. the starter was very dry as no salad dressing or chutney etc, in the end I asked for some butter for the dry toast. In contrast the Prawn linguine was swimming in green flavourless water. Overall I paid more for a smaller room and wished I ordered the pizza in the restaurant.

Stylish, modern and friendly but...

Liked: The room was stylish and modern and was very nice. I liked that the room and we had a door which accessed an outside area straight to car park it was great for some fresh air.
Disliked: The room had thin walls and we were near reception and due to the event on I heard people coming back to their room and glasses clattering at all hours of the night and especially this morning when people were checking out.

Perfect for what we required,...

Liked: Cooked Breakfast excellent, everything else very good. Bar prices better than expected for a boutique hotel.Location perfect for our stay away from home.staff very polite and accommodating.
Disliked: Checking in was slow

Disliked: Spa is a bit tired, but the are working on it

Good food, poor room for...

Disliked: The room, the wash basin setup and no window or extractor in the bathroom. The jacuzzi steps were very dangerous with screw heads sticking up. The check-in and reception was poor.

Overall enjoyable

Liked: Friendly good facilities. Pool etc
Disliked: Lights in bedroom all connected so couldn’t have only one light on. Also impossible as reading lamps. Quilts rather too warm for summer months could have alternatives ones available

Disliked: The room was very small and I could hear everything next door
