Great. Enjoyed it very much

Liked: The personal service by the owner and manager.

Exceptional

Liked: Staff were friendly and genuine, service was relaxed and felt personalised.
Disliked: Rooms are quite small for the price but there were sporting events on at the time which likely affected the price.

Comfortable, mostly good facilities but...

Liked: My room was very comfortable and provided most of the facilities
Disliked: There was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. It was also possible to hear what was going on in the adjacent rooms so the walls were rather thin. I got woken up twice by a couple returning to their room after midnight and making a lot of noise !

A really friendly place to...

Liked: The property had everything we needed for our stay, great location and comfortable and clean rooms. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, in particular the female member of staff that worked behind reception, she helped us with recommendations of where to go, how to get to places and made us feel welcome everyday which made our stay feel personal.
Disliked: The rooms were quite hot and there was no aircon but it didn’t help that the weather during our stay was really warm so I don’t think it could’ve been helped much anyway. Not sure if there was an option to ask for a fan though maybe there was the option but we didn’t ask.

Pleasant

Convenient, quiet and lovely hosts

Liked: A good location in a quiet street, with a couple of cafes nearby. It’s a short walk down to the GPO and O’Connell St, and several bus routes. The hosts are absolutely lovely and obliging. The property has a secure entry, and feels very safe. The old fashion key was quite a novelty!
Disliked: The bathroom is very compact, and I had not seen a shower faucet like that before so I had to work it out (it may be quite common here in Ireland?).
