Disliked: Signs all over the car park saying everybody must pay, then machine at door saying pay on arrival. So we paid £15 for 3 nights stay. Its only when you then go in that you discover hotel guests don't need to pay. This needs to be made clear in the car park itself.Bathroom could do with updating Air con too noisy to useWe lost a cuddly toy and staff were not very caring. Staff were polite and did their job but lacked warmth and were not chatty.

Disappointing

Disliked: When we checked in, there was tap running in our room, which was odd! Our room was at the top of the building with only skylights, 1 of which was situated above a bed and didn’t close so the sun shone into my daughter’s face from approx 5.30am. When we got up, we opened all the other sky lights which had been closed on our arrival and they were absolutely filthy and covered with grime. Lastly, when husband had his shower after my v brief one, there was no hot water after approx 30 seconds. It was a hugely disappointing stay and I was glad it was just for one night. We had prepaid for the room and when I spoke to reception at check out, they said I would hear from someone regarding compensation. That was 3 days ago and I haven’t heard from anyone.

Nice place to stay but...

Liked: Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice and cooked nicely not swimming in grease, friendly staff, generally clean and tidy
Disliked: The price I paid through booking.com if id booked hotel direct would have been same price but breakfast included !, bathroom cud do with some TLC silicone round bath black in places grout dirty some of tiles, taps for shower old /broken etc, had a balcony but no key to open the door

Too expensive for what you...

Liked: I loved the reception area, it really looked amazing and the colour scheme was lovely! I found the staff at the reception to be polite and helpful. The nicest part of the stay was the swimming pool!
Disliked: Where do I start! Considering the price we paid I found that the hotel needs a massive upgrade. We had no hot water for hours! The elevator was broken for 5-7 hours, the restaurant staff well I’ll say one person in particular is very loud and rude’ I think if one rule applies to one person it should apply to ALL! the bathroom had a nice layout but the tiles in the bath had a lot of mould. The hotel needs a lot of upgrading for the rate they charge. Also no mushroom at breakfast that sadden me! I don’t think I’d stay there away to be completely honest. Would I recommend? No!
