OK, but not great value...

Liked: Staff were nice and friendly
Disliked: I had an upgrade, but thought the room was tired. The decor was outdated and the shower was very weak.

Needs a total refurbishment and...

Disliked: The furniture in the Royal Antoinnet suit was utterly disgusting - everything was shabby. I have better in my garden shed!

Surpassed our expectations!

Liked: Beautiful hotel and the hotel staff were really outstanding. Our room was spacious and so comfortable. Great choice of food for menu. Really good breakfast and the spa area was lovely too
Disliked: Lift was broken to the top floor so had to use stairs on occasions which was absolutely fine for us except when we had to lug out luggage in. Other than that there are some signs the hotel needs a slight refurb some areas getting tired, plaster crumbling however it wouldn't put us off as it's a quality hotel that offers a quality service

Liked: Location close to wedding venue, reception staff, bar staff
Disliked: Dining room staff, rude, and unhelpful seemed like any task was too much for them. No skimmed milk

Stayed for a family wedding...

Liked: The swimming pool, the breakfast and staff all good.
Disliked: The room, deffinately not 4star accommodation.Bathroom clean but very dated. Furniture in room old and dated. Balcony was not available to use due to a recent inspection and could not be used. The only good thing was the aircon. As advised by the rest of my family most rooms the balcony was unavailable to use.
