Liked: Beautiful historic building of the type we love, great central location, great staff, excellent room.
Disliked: Breakfast healthy options but not to my personal British tastes.

Liked: Great city centre location with a short walk into the old town. City centre parking available although expensive
Disliked: Breakfast not included at this price. We asked at reception for extra pillows but they didn't turn up and when we rang to chase them up the phone wasn't answered

We would love to return...

Liked: The location is great and adjacent to the Aldstat but is serenely quiet as room windows open to a fountained courtyard. We were traveling with friends in a double room and our apartment was an exquisite gathering spot. Breakfast offerings and service were superb. The surroundings have the feel of a museum with all the modern amenities. Loved the heated bathroom floor. Not an exaggeration to say we were treated like royalty.
Disliked: Absolutely no complaints
