Disliked: Limited transport to neighbouring locations from town - more for the Shire information than for the Denmark Hotel

Exceptional

Liked: Amazing location and check in/out was made super easy! The cleaners were lovely, always greeted with lovely smiles and very easy going. Loved the style of the rooms and will highly recommend!
Disliked: The hot water system needed to be a notch hotter! Our shower temp was borderline, and with the cold weather it would have been nice to have a hot shower but was still fine. Also, we weren’t told about the discount at the restaurant until after we paid in full, it would have been nice to be given a heads up prior but still lovely service and meals!

Liked: We had a great stay! The room was very stylish and comfortable. What made our experience exceptional was the amazing staff and the Denmark Hotel Restaurant next to the accommodation — both were outstanding. Although the rooms don't have a heating system yet, the staff kindly brought us a heater, so it was no problem at all. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable!

Liked: Clean and comfortable.
Disliked: Expensive, however, we did book at peak times. Even so, it didn't seem to meet our expectations for the price paid.

Liked: Seamless check-in with door lock code, with this option we could check-in at any time after 2PM without any staff involved.
Disliked: No air conditioning or heating.

Location

Liked: I’ve stayed here many times for the central location and love having access to the trails, coffee shops and supermarkets. I did eat at the pub on-site and it was packed and very popular with the locals too.
Disliked: The rooms have been redecorated but are cold with no heating and concrete floors. Most of time I had hot water but not for all showers. As someone from a warm climate these are a bit annoying.
