Great stay placing me near...

Liked: I like that it's a 'hidden' hotel but roomy. The staff have always been pleasant and the room good. Didn't get to eat this time but last time the food was fine!
Disliked: Some elements are looking a little warn. Be careful not to let them get too warn! (Example: The pull up on the window shade in the room was not gearing with the track.

Brilliant Stay

Liked: The staff where exceptional and went the extra mile for you. Especially, Stella on reception and Alesha in the restaurant and bar area. The swimming pool was so lovely and there was also a sauna which was great. The grounds are beautiful and I would recommend staying here.
Disliked: This is just an observation for me personally but for breakfast, although they put on a great selection of hot food, and you could request pancakes, which was great; I felt that there could have been more healthy options, like granola, fresh juices but that is just me personally. Other than that the restaurant team were great.

Overall stay was good for...

Liked: Quiet and peaceful location, friendly staff. I felt safe as a lone female traveller. Pool was a bonus and lounge bar was good for a light bite late eve.
Disliked: Rooms hot and no air con, but fan was sufficient for a one evening stay. Unfortunately room service not catered for, so I missed breakfast, which was disappointing when I had paid for it.

Great hotel, friendly staff, lovely...

Liked: The room was lovely and clean, the staff were very friendly and so helpful. Check-in was smooth as well as check out. The breakfast was lovely and so accessible lots and lots of variety. The outside seating area of the hotel was lovely and picturesque. I would have spent more time out there. However, it was chilly on our stay, but a warm spring/summer day would be so nice.
Disliked: One downfall of the stay was that the room smelt of smoke upon arrival. I'm not sure if someone had been smoking in there previously, and the smell is very hard to get rid of. That is the only criticism. This may not be down to the hotel, I would like to hope the previous guest would be charged for this happening.
