Denbies Vineyard Hotel

Lovely small hotel in beautiful...

Liked: Beautiful surroundings...very helpful and friendly staff...comfortable and pleasant room. if difficult to sleep because of hot temperature in room, helped by fan. Lovely dining room and tables outside with vineland views.
Disliked: Could have had more vegan/vegetarian choices. Quite expensive. The rooms were £820.00 for 4 people for 2 nights. On top were 2 dinners with wine for 2 adults and 2 children which amounted to well over £300.00 for 2 nights...perhaps a discount for hotel guests.?

Liked: Vineyard views lovely. Hotel comfortable and clean. Staff very helpful and food lovely.Train ride and indoor wine tasting both very interesting and good value.Farm produce and gift shop both very nice.
Disliked: Our only disappointment was slow service at breakfast and evening meal, to which we did address at the time .

Liked: Location and facilities. Clean and tidy and very relaxed atmosphere.
Disliked: No aircon which increasingly feels like a necessity in the UK and especially for newly kitted out hotels.

Disliked: Bed was vv hard and not comfortable.Breakfast was disappointing as scrambled eggs was Luke warm and very dry.
