A unique experience being on...

Liked: On a paddle wheel boat that is docked on the river. It’s in Old Sacramento with bars and restaurants close by. Staff is very helpful. Room was fine.

Liked: Interesting location- downtown- that is why we chose it. We like boutique hotels
Disliked: We stayed on a Friday night, so it was a bit noisy with all the activity going on

Liked: It is a unique experience staying on a real riverboat floating on the Sacramento River. Everything was super clean and well maintained. The restaurant had a great breakfast with wonderful views.
Disliked: We were only going to be there late afternoon to mid morning. We decided to have our meals on the boat to enjoy the ambiance and views of the river. After checking in we went out to find a place to charge our electric car and did a short walking tour of downtown Sacramento. We had read the information in our room saying when the restaurant and bar closed. We hustled to get back about an hour before the bar was to close to enjoy our two complimentary drinks, some bar food and, likely, a few more drinks. We actually got back about 40 minutes before the posted closing time but that still would have been enough. But when we went up to the bar the doors were locked and there was someone in there cleaning up. We went to the front desk to ask about it and she said it had been slow so they closed early. We bought a soft drink, a beer and some chips from the sundries behind the front desk and that was it. Very disappointing and $23 for $10 worth of food. I felt, given the circumstances, they should have comped us for the snacks.

Liked: I loved the staff from reception to housekeeping to wait staff in restaurant. All professional and friendly! The bed was very comfy.
Disliked: The door was a little hard to lock and unlock, but I figured it out.

Liked: Unique location. Dining facilities were beautiful
Disliked: Cost for breakfast was high. Simple breakfast-- waited half an hour and there was only one other table seated. It was delicious but about double the price we would normally pay.
