It was nice. I would...

Liked: Love the boat. Very good food.
Disliked: The staff was not friendly. They seemed totally indifferent. Very unprofessional. The service at the restaurant was extremely slow despite being nearly empty.

Enjoyed a nostalgic night aboard...

Liked: The history and nostalgia of the river boat was fun. The bartenders were very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with them. The calamari and ahi tartare were excellent. Next time we will try the entrees. We also had a visit from a sea lion! Would not expect that in the Delta.
Disliked: The only complaint that I have is that the room was so bright with all the lights outside. The blinds did not block the light. However the boat looked gorgeous at night with all the lights, so it is not something that would prevent me from going back.

Uniques experience with wonderful staff...

Liked: Great location in the river in old town Sac. Walked to the A’s baseball game in the evening . Lovely ship with great historical charm . Happy hour at the ship Bar is a must . Had a great breakfast in the morning onboard .
Disliked: The mattressWas a bit soft for my liking . Room were quaint . The chain pull Toilet was sooo loud …

This is my new favorite...

Liked: The Delta King is wonderful! We were in town to see a concert at Golden 1 which was a very safe walk from the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean. A little small, but the entire place was just charming. The staff was amazing and helpful. Awesome water pressure in the shower. Excellent food.
Disliked: There was not one thing I didn't like. It was all perfect.

A great holiday in Sacramento

Liked: This is the second time we have stayed at the Delta King Hotel. The location is great and it’s easy to walk to all the main attractions. The boat has a lovely holiday vibe.
Disliked: I am aware that the rooms can’t have a fridge due to the extra use of power. However, perhaps a better system or perhaps a central fridge that can be accessed by guests to access milk etc.
