Cosy, comfortable & money well...

Liked: The location was absolutely gorgeous, overlooking the racecourse. We enjoyed the leisure facilities, bar downstairs, and the staff were absolutely amazing and so accommodating. I had been messaging on booking.com regarding decorations for my partner’s birthday and it was carried out perfectly! We had such a lovely stay in a comfy, fresh cleaned room every day. Checking in & out was really easy and went smoothly.
Disliked: Our only complaints were no air conditioning in the room & the weather was really hot so this did impact our sleep slightly. The water pressure was also not great, but again these are small things compared to great service we received.

Dreadful, never set foot in...

Liked: Nothing, found the property dated, dirty and no way is this a 4 star hotel.
Disliked: I didn’t like the room it was like my grand mother’s house, dated, dark and not very clean. The bar was also not very clean , glasses and tables all sticky and I refused to even try the food. After going in the bar we just went and got our cases and left the hotel. Stay clear of this hotel if you like a nice fresh , clean hotel.

Liked: Good breakfast and mostly young friendly staff .
Disliked: Rooms badly maintained, our first room was dirty with no ventilation, window could be opened appropriately 6 inches, no working AV so asked for alternative room , next choice which we settled for was a lot better but no fridge, on the hottest day of 2025 , requested one but nothing happened ,also cracked sink in bathroom with a bath but only shower available

Liked: Great location, nice walk into town. Spacious rooms, quiet. Lovely breakfast too.
Disliked: Drinks on pricey side, but it is a hotel.
