Disappointing for a Marriott Hotel...

Liked: Location for the York Racecourse
Disliked: Tired, too hot in the room, small window opening, no air con, dusty noisy fan, pillows & quilt past sell by date, mattress lumpy & uncomfortable, bedding threadbare in places, towels thin, too much large furniture in the room making it cluttered - this was sold as a deluxe double room & there was nothing luxurious about it & £500 for 2 nights I’d have expected something better. Staff all very helpful considering the hotel was full & lots of complaints at the reception, I didn’t bother the staff given they are not accountable for the room style, content & decor. Disappointing for a Marriott Hotel in a prime location

Liked: Bus no4 to city centre every 15 minutes.
Disliked: Meal in restaurant was poor.

Disliked: Did not meat the money value and has nothing to do with the standard of marroitt The worst hotel i have been to Rooms extremely hot and hygiene and cleanliness very bad Staff have no knowledge that helps touristsCouldn't wait for my stay to end I had a disability hotel did not help Anybody visiting york strongly advise not to live in this hotel
