Would not recommend

Liked: What for hubbys birthday asked reception and restaurant staff to bring out my surprise cake for hubbys 40th. They reluctantly agreed to a time as apparently they had a huge booking that would mean they were busy from 8 onwards. I said I’d bring him at 7pm then and that it would only be for 15 mins as we had dinner reservations elsewhere. All I asked them was to bring out the cake with its candles lit. Arrived down stairs at 7, had to ask hubby to hang back so as not to spoil it. Went to bar staff were apparently our cake would be ready, no cake. They didn’t have a clue what was going on. Went to restaurant, again no staff had a clue. Finally found manager who I’d arranged it with. He didn’t look bothered when I was clearly raging, went to fetch cake that was still in box! Had to end up prepping it myself, hubby obviously knew by this point (20 mins late) so surprise ruined. Staff were totally dismissive. I complained at reception which all they did was apologies and then sent me back to restaurant to complain. Spoke to them and all he did was leave us a bottle of cheap red wine, and crappy brownies. My hubbys had a difficult year so I really wanted to give him this surprise!
Disliked: Anyway beds were uncomfortable aswell, rooms were dreary, bathroom rundown and breakfast was not amazing. Really disappointed in this hotel and especially the staff.

Comfortable and welcoming staff

Liked: It was well located for our purposes and had excellent well stocked comfortable rooms. The breakfast selection was also very extensive

Liked: Overall it's a tidy and very well looked gardens,inside the hotel is very stylish and modern.I was super satisfied.It is a bonus that swimming pool,steam room and sauna included.Amazing

Liked: Great location. Great staff. Breakfast buffet and evening steak restaurant were absolute class!
Disliked: Streaming services were none existent and we found it impossible to mirror our phones to the TV, which apparently had the capability. Apart from that, we had a brilliant stay

Marvellous stay

Liked: Warm friendly service. Spotless and smelt clean. Food amazing. Beautiful surroundings. The staff on shift on Sunday 30th August, all need a shout out! Superb service, at reception and dining area.
Disliked: There was some confusion when checking in regarding payment for breakfast. We were asked to pay for breakfast if we wanted it. The next day we checked our booking and it was confirmed breakfast was included in our booking. We could have paid twice, and for 3 guests thats expensive. All sorted in the end.
