The Spotlight on Delta Hotels by Marriott Toronto

Stay in the Heart of the Action at Delta Hotels by Marriott Toronto

Modern and stylish with a sleek urban vibe, Delta Hotels by Marriott Toronto is nestled in downtown Toronto, just steps away from the city’s biggest entertainment hubs. Whether you’re catching a show at Scotiabank Arena, cheering on your band at Rogers Centre, or exploring the city’s cultural gems like the CN Tower or Ripley’s Aquarium, this hotel puts you in the middle of it all. With spacious rooms, a heated indoor pool, and direct access to Toronto’s underground PATH walkway, it offers comfort and convenience in equal measure.

Why Concert-goers love it

You can’t beat the location—concert venues are practically on your doorstep, meaning you can walk to and from your event in minutes. The direct PATH connection to Union Station makes late-night transit or airport transfers a breeze, even in bad weather. Free WiFi and in-room Smart TVs are perfect for post-show wind-downs, and the 12:00 PM checkout gives you time to sleep in after a night of music. Despite being in the center of the city, rooms are comfortably quiet, great for recharging.

Who this Hotel is great for

Groups of friends looking for a weekend of shows and sightseeing
Solo travelers catching a must-see artist
Couples making a romantic concert getaway
Fans who want a quiet, calm space post-show
Budget-conscious travelers who appreciate value without compromising comfort

Food and Drink Options

SOCO Kitchen + Bar serves up breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch, with a casual vibe and solid menu—ideal for fueling up before or after a show. While Char No.5 Whiskey & Cocktail Lounge is currently closed for renovations (reopening June 2025), SOCO remains open and inviting. Room service is available for those late-night cravings, and plenty of downtown dining options are walkable if you're feeling adventurous. Breakfast is served late enough for those who need a slow morning after a high-energy night.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel is more about comfort than clubbing, its central location means you’re just a short walk or ride from some of Toronto’s best bars and lounges. From stylish rooftop spots to cozy pubs, there’s something nearby for every post-concert mood. Plus, local craft drinks are on offer at SOCO while Char No.5 is closed.

What People Say

Guests rave about the proximity to concert venues and the friendly, professional staff. Many highlight the hotel’s clean, modern rooms and praise the efficient check-in experience. The PATH connection is a standout feature for those navigating the city, especially during cooler months.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests miss the vibe and selection at Char No.5 while it’s under renovation, but SOCO is keeping guests well-fed in the meantime. Parking can be pricey, so it’s worth checking transit alternatives if you’re not driving.

The Bottom Line

With unbeatable location, comfy rooms, and easy access to Toronto’s top music venues, Delta Hotels by Marriott Toronto hits all the right notes for concert-goers.

Melissa B, Brantford, ON, visiting Scotiabank Arena Tue, 24 October 2023

Very clean. Staff was awesome. Love that the hotel is very secure (need a key card to enter pool and hottub and to move the elevator) - keep in mind not to book through a 3rd party, which is the mistake my wife and I made. Go through the hotel directly. We Paid $400 for a standard room with 1 king size bed. Other than that our trip was truly amazing!

Liked: Everything.
Disliked: Nothing.

Glenda, Kingston, visiting Coca-Cola Coliseum Mon, 21 November 2022

Parking price was way too high - apparently a $35.00 fee per day but you can't leave and return. It's winter - you need to drive to shop etc.

Disliked: The tub wouldn't drain so only one of us had a shower.

Breakfast was just okay. Lucky to find cafe outside hotel. Location is best. Maybe they are happy to handle business guests within Canada.

Liked: Location was best.
Disliked: Delta Hotel Marriott Toronto staff need to learn how to handle overseas guests. They are good for Canadian citizens and residents who are aware of laws. Knowledge of staff and no extra effort to make guests' comfortable.

The staff were amazing - met every request and delivered! Very convenient to downtown and Union Station!

Disliked: If anything it would be the price.
