Delta Hotels by Marriott Norfolk Airport

Average hotel; woke up at 2am Saturday night to a huge fight outside our room on the 2nd floor - called the front desk and they knew nothing about it. Police came and resolved the issue.

Disliked: Room temperature inconsistent; bath needed upgrades.

Liked: Location, the general appearance of the facility, and the updated lobby. Starbucks.
Disliked: The furniture in the room was old and needed to be replaced. The bedskirt on the bed needs to be cleaned or replaced, and the mattresses need to be replaced. The bathtub was slippery. It needed a grip mat. I almost fell getting inside the shower.

Nice hotel

Liked: Shuttle from airport was great and the main reason for choosing this hotel as we came in on a very late flight. Rooms were comfy and clean. Staff was mostly nice and helpful.
Disliked: Wasn't easy to get into town on public transport, although we found our way.

Terrible and I would like...

Disliked: After unfriendly check-in, they put us in a handicap room that was so filthy (dirt & grit all over the room). The handicap shower was horrible & I slipped & hit my elbow on railing by shower. Someone will be seriously hurt soon in that bathroom.

Disliked: The situation with the elevators is the same every time we have stayed here. Out of order. Charging $10 / night parkingWifi - no current instructions on how to connect, and what is on the website is outdated. "Oh we don't do it that way any more". No working phone in the room to call front desk. "We'll need to fix that after you check-out". Impossible to see the coffee station area due to the lack of any light fixture.
