Great hotel, great staff would...

Liked: Great hotel. Staff friendly, professional and accommodating. Only draw back was the pitiful shower. However, I would recommend the hotel and certainly stay there again.
Disliked: The pitiful shower in the room.

Liked: Great location for our visit to Northumberland
Disliked: No poached eggs at breakfast unless you requested them. Scrambled eggs not great

Fantastic location and hotel for...

Liked: The hotel is very conveniently located, it has on site parking which is free. It has a very nice leisure centre with a heated pool which was great to relax in after a long day or in the mornings. The room was very spacious as well as the bathroom was a very good size. Everything you need for tea and coffee in the room as well as a mini fridge which was very useful. Cleaning staff cleaned the room fantastically.
Disliked: Would not recommend the restaurant, food was not very good and a bit over priced, but there are many options not far from the hotel.

Poor

Liked: The price.
Disliked: First room ,toilet didn't work.Second room ,found a pair of soiled underwear behind curtain, obviously this rooms were never checked. Rooms dated compared to other hotels in newcastle. We had to go for food at evening time because on website said restaurant was closed on Sunday, but when arrived to hotel open, but a coach party where in restaurant and we asked why no update on website.

Very pleasant

Disliked: Tv in lounge far too loud, had to ask staff to turn it down so we could hear ourselves talking

Passable

Liked: The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly.
Disliked: We arrived at 9pm and couldn't seem to order room service through the app. It would have been great to just be able to call as normal. The room was meant to have a sofa bed made up. There was a spare duvet and pillows so we made do as we just wanted to get to sleep due to an early start. Given the hotel chain it was a disappointing hotel overall, we preferred our stay at the Premier Inn better the following evening.

Superb

Liked: The hotel is clean with facilities still intact, and located four minutes away from the metro centre where you would find lots of shops and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety for an English breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing not to like.

Great Sunday night stay

Liked: Great sized room, location was perfect for where we needed to be, the pool was brilliant for the kids, a good size and warm with good changing facilities. Plenty of free parking. Excellent price for a Sunday night. We stayed with my sister and nephew and it was great that they managed to give us an interconnecting room so we could have the doors open between them so the boys could play.
Disliked: The pillows on the bed were too squashy for my liking, would have liked a slightly firmer option.
