Exceptional

Style over substance

Liked: Great location, easy to find. Great outdoor pool & bar.
Disliked: Staff shortages meant it was impossible to eat in the hotel which was really disappointing after a long drive from Cape Breton. Hotel room floor was dusty and toilet bowl dirty on arrival. Staff asked how our stay was on checkout and when I mentioned the fact we hadn’t been able to eat at the hotel, no apology or explanation given. Didn’t seem to care.

Late Night Oasis

Liked: Lovely location.
Disliked: The pending ‘pre authorization’ exceeds the amount of the invoice. I will give it 24 hours to be corrected before reporting to the credit card company.

Liked: Restaurants and pool for grandkids to use.

Sucked that i had to...

Disliked: Bed sheets weren’t changed from previous guests. In the morning, we found a used band aid and blood stain in the bed. The hotel still charged us the full amount for our stay ($350+ ) and said someone would be in touch today. Haven’t heard from anyone yet

Liked: The main installations, restaurant, etc were nice, the room was average, loved the view and the Nespresso that was a great touch.
Disliked: The spa was closed, and it was a 30-minute walk from the city centre, where my conference was happening. The bedsheets were rough.
