lovely little weekend away base.

Liked: lovely hosts made us feel welcome, rooms well equipped, clean and comfy. Plenty of parking and some under cover. Breakfast offered and cooked fresh to order, Decoy Barn has a real home feeling.
Disliked: Slight noise from road but it's not too busy so doesn't affect stay

Liked: Sue and John gave a very warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Safe parking for my bike, and a very comfortable room for the night. Breakfast was excellent and it was a real pleasure to meet them both. Would definitely use again.

Liked: We thought that the Decoy Barn was brilliant from the moment we arrived. With a big warm welcome from John & Suzannealong with a pot Tea and cake. Bedroom was great with garden view & comfy bed to sleep in. Smashing breakfast in the morning. John was very helpful in giving us places to visit and venues to eat out in.
Disliked: Have to say there's nothing I didn't like.

Everything you could want in...

Liked: Lovely well equipped room with ensuite bathroom and kitchenette,opening out onto a terrace where we could look out over the garden Greeted with a pot of tea and a cupcake each when we got there,John and Suzanne were welcoming and helpful without being intrusive Breakfast was £8.50 per person extra ,pre-ordered the night before but freshly cooked in the morning at a time of our choice . Excellent value and well recommended There was a good selection of fruits,yogurts,cereals etc for the continental which was followed by the cooked.We opted for the full English,with quality ingredients all round , amongst other options were locally smoked kippers which we will try next timeNeedless to say,tea coffee and toast were in endless supply and as check out time allowed us to not have to rush ,we sat out in the garden after breakfast and played ball with the dog!Will definitely be back!
