Decatur Conference Center And Hotel

I would never rent a room at this hotel; for the cost you got nothing; the restaurants were closed in the hotel; short staff; no towels were available the next day to get half roll of toilet paper only in the room upon check in and the venue and music playing right where the rooms were was horrible. Listening to pound music and bass in my room for hours was not pleasant.

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: The rooms smelled. The water took forever to get hot and the room was right there where there was a venue.

Exceptional

I paid for 2 queen...

Liked: Clean, and nice facilities
Disliked: I paid for 2 queen size beds and booked a 2 queen size beds and got a queen with a couch. Asked about changing rooms and was told they had nothing.

Pleasant, quiet and reasonably priced

Liked: Elegant, clean, great breakfast and breakfast attendant
Disliked: Very abandoned areas, hot tub out of service

Don’t stay if you are...

Disliked: For a single it was a little weird. I stopped on a Sunday. This complex is huge and there wasn’t but maybe 10 cars. The reception desk isn’t close to the hotel part, so it didn’t feel very safe to me. The fire alarm kept going off every 2 to 3 hours. Thankfully it didn’t happen at night, but no one was around to let anyone know what was happening. Plus it’s kind of out in the middle of nowhere Decatur.

Liked: I love the hotel. I think that an update would set them apart from.most hotels in the region

Great stay!

Liked: It was spacious, clean, and staff was friendly. Breakfast was delicious!
Disliked: Only thing I didn’t like was the door closes really slow which could have posed a safety issue if I were alone
