Great value Bed & Breakfast...
Liked: Breakfast was excellent, good quality, very well presented, prepared and served by a gentleman named Fred. He is a lovely man; friendly and helpful. The properly is very clean, warm, homely and well presented with nice decor and pleasing artwork. This was a great value stay.
Disliked: There are only 3 parking spaces, one of which would have taken some skilful manoeuvring to get into. It does advertise that there are plenty of free parking spaces on Fulton (or Fullerton?) St, at the rear of the property, but I wouldn't have wanted to park my car there. Fortunately, one of the easier spaces became available and I was able to park there for the night.

Fabulous stay!
Liked: Robbie & Fred were amazing hosts. From letting us check in early to accommodating us for an extra, unexpected night, they couldn't have been better. Robbie even carried our heavy bags upstairs for us- a pretty rare thing these days! We had a 2 twin room & the beds were very comfy. There was a mini fridge stocked with a little pitcher of fresh milk for tea/coffee, some sweet treats & 2 bottles of water, which was a very thoughtful touch. Of course there was a kettle with tea & coffee in the room, along with packets of biscuits. The room was compact, but they made great use of space. The bathroom had a shower stall, small sink with cabinet storage & a lighted mirror. It would have been tight for larger guests but we were ok. We got some great advice on visiting the Isle of Arran while enjoying our made-to-order breakfast (also had yogurt, cereals & juice at the ready). The guest house is an easy walk to the local pub & the main centre of Kilmarnock & an easy pickup/drop-off for cabs or rideshare, having a back driveway & a front gate. If we had had a car, we could have parked right behind the house. Great service, location & food. Would definitely recommend the guesthouse : )
