A good place to stay...

Liked: Perfect location to explore the Avenue of the Giants. Pool area was clean and well kept. Loved the family of rescue cats that were hanging around! Really convenient little store in the check-in area, for ice cream and snacks. Our time there was safe and quiet, and a good place to rest after a long active day.
Disliked: This place is funky. It was clean enough, but worn. Our room had a flickering light and sheets with holes. Think of it as visiting your weird-but-nice cousin in the woods.

Liked: The cabins facing the river are lovely
Disliked: The AC took a long time to cool the room and the bathroom door would leave a small gap.

Liked: Warm welcome and nicely located at the river.
Disliked: The shower could have been a little bit warmer.

Liked: Lovely location overlooking the river. Helpful staff.
Disliked: One burner ring was not fixed properly. No separate wash basin to kitchen sink. Lack of bedside lighting.

Liked: They were very accommodating and helpful. We originally booked a cabin. There was a water main break the first night so we were upgraded to a motel suite. The 2nd night there was a power line that went down and we had no power for about 8 hours, they gave us battery lights, so it was no problem. I was an adventure, but we would definitely book another stay. I love the rustic accommodations.
Disliked: the bed could use an upgrade
