Disliked: Bathroom was outdated and the shower was poor; low pressure and hard to get temp right. Other than that nothing wrong with my stay.

A relaxing getaway from London,...

Liked: The hotel is located on a vast estate outside of Reading (off M4) with a beautiful golf course and mansion house. Our room (and the facilities) were all clean, despite ongoing renovations in the building we were staying. Staff were friendly, and breakfast options were good.
Disliked: Although we arrived around 3 PM, our room was not ready, leading to a delayed check-in. While the staff were friendly, they were not very quick! especially in the bar and restaurant, where ordering and receiving food and drinks took longer than expected.

Liked: Fantastic location and facilities in stunning grounds. Staff were very polite and helpful. We had a dinner party booked for 25 people, staff were amazing.
Disliked: We booked some family rooms. Main double bed was v comfortable, second bed for child was not as comfortable (it was a pull out bed)

Pleasant stay with lovely staff...

Liked: The breakfast was great - lots of options, lots of juices. It would be better if they had more veggie options and included fried bread.The staff were very friendly. Beds were comfy.
Disliked: The room was very hot, there was a fan in the room but even with that on all night it was too hot.The amenities in the room were bad. I forgot my shampoo and conditioner and had to use the hotel ones. There was only shampoo, pretty sure it was the same product as the body wash. No conditioner. And they both smelled incredibly masculine. Not luxury products I would have expected. The restaurant, while delicious, was very expensive
