Great hotel overall with very...

Liked: Amazing location on an estate. Great facilities- pool especially. Fantastic breakfast.
Disliked: Loved it all apart from no air conditioning in the room.

Liked: 99 percent of it love the decor and staff spot on
Disliked: No room service we arrived late and was no facilities for late food so had to buy crisps chocolate from reception not quite what we were hoping for Breakfast was good

No sleep.

Liked: Location
Disliked: The fire alarm went off multiple times throughout the early hours of the morning. When I checked out I commented on it without even so much as an apology.

Not as expected, was below...

Liked: Location is good and the grounds were too
Disliked: Room was small, no water provided in the room! We couldn't believe there was not a bottle of water. The water fountain was not close by our room on level 3 in Mansion house. The phone and tv didn't work. We wouldn't stay again. Breakfast was disorganised, kept running out of food/coffee machine didn't work at times either.

Liked: Location
Disliked: Ni lifts, my husband had a problem with climbing stairs. Asked for room on ground floor or first floor. Receptionist told us to wait for 5 to 10 minutes never. Left us waiting never returned back. Asked other lady at the desk she said no rooms available, not at all helpful as they were busy just ignored. Room we booked wS superior room, nothing like superior very small no drinking water either in the rooms

Real let down as a...

Liked: Fantastic room and great staff
Disliked: Golf course was in the worst condition I have played in 40 years for a hotel venue - do not book for a golf break if you are a serious golfer. Very poorly maintained course despite a good layout - could be so much more. Like many hotel courses it has been under invested in over recent years. Cooked breakfast was of the rubbery type so focus on the fruit & cereals selection.
