Can't praise this place enough. We arrived and were greeted by a lovely receptionist - very polite and very helpful, Maxxy couldn't have done enough. The room was very spacious and comfortable and had all the things in the room that was advertised. Overall just a wonderful place to stay, wish I could have stayed longer.

Liked: Staff excellent,especially lady on reception at check in,sorry forgot her name,ambience of hotel.Bar/ lounge area very nice.Breakfast well stocked and efficient.
Disliked: Did not get our twin room that was requested but was rectified, though we lost our superior room type.259 to 234

Ideally located, excellent high quality...

Liked: Lovely clean hotel, spacious and well designed. Perfect location for our stay .
Disliked: Waited far too long long at the bar for our cocktails and drinks after a tiring hot day . Would say it was understaffed but staff very apologetic and friendly.

Gorgeous hotel near University of...

Liked: Gorgeous hotel - perfect location for visiting University of Nottingham. Staff excellent throughout. Room very clean and comfortable. Lovely bathroom / shower with thick fluffy towels & toiletries. Iron & board in room with hairdryer. Only 1 criticism was practicality of mirror / hairdryer combination!
Disliked: Only 1 criticism. A hairdryer is provided messaging I didn’t bring my own. However the coiled lead for the hairdryer is very short and the only mirror inside the wardrobe door. It was impossible to see my hair whilst drying it which was a huge inconvenience and I regretted not bringing my own hairdryer! Maybe just rethink this design by adding a small mirror on wall by socket or having longer lead on dryer!
