Great value, location and facilities

Liked: Good value. The estate was lovely - next time we'll stay longer and explore it more.
Disliked: There were vegan options, but not a great choice and no proper vegan breakfast - you'd think that was easy to fix (it's what freezers are for).

Liked: Unfortunately the bar area was having new carpets which ment the restaurant was not doing their usual meal menus, so food was limited to the bar menu, but we could eat in the restuarant.

Lovely setting. Lovely staff. Disappointing...

Liked: Friendly staff. Great gym. Setting was lovely.
Disliked: Minute bathroom. Shower was way too small. Extremely compact room which wasn’t clear. For a 4 star - id expect better toiletries. No body cream: no cotton pads or anything else. Left me disappointed as I’d not expected to need my own.

Disliked: Hardly enough wardrobe space no electric c spot behind kettl uncomfortabl bed not very clean shower no bedside cabinet on one seat de to in awkward position

Pleasant

Liked: The Chinese lady at the bar and restaurant was so lovely and cheery , we had a laugh with her, , she is a credit to the hotel . Lovely setting.
Disliked: Room was ready at 3 on the dot , which was ish clean only had one towel between us , went for a superior double , but not worth the extra as was quite small and you had to have curtains closed the whole time.

Convenient, comfortable, historic location

Liked: Quiet room, comfortable bed and pillows.
Disliked: Big hotel building, long walk with bags to room.
