Beautiful hotel

Liked: The breakfast selection was very good. The suite we booked was lovely and very spacious.
Disliked: The breakfast was not very hot. The toast barely toasted. When we had a shower the drain appeared blocked as the water was not going down. We had to turn shower off and wait for the water to go down the drain. Housekeeping should be on top of this. Bathroom floor needed a better mop.

Really liked the place and...

Liked: The whole site is lovely. Close to the Thames, and just a few miles from Windsor. Free parking on site. Reception staff were extremely helpful and cheerful. Room was perfect - clean, well decorated, spacious, bed was comfy. Tea coffee and biscuits in the room. Room rate was reasonable too. Good buffet breakfast. Dinner in the main restaurant was excellent, albeit just a touch more expensive than I would have expected.
Disliked: We really enjoyed our short stay and the following are minor points - The "estate" was larger than I expected and the map they provide could have been a little clearer. Service staff (Bar and Housekeeping) seemed a little rushed and not particularly friendly. Waiter in the restaurant was too friendly - his enthusiasm for everything we ordered became irritating after a while. When booking they asked if we wanted to reserve the restaurant for dinner - without telling us that there was a second, less expensive buffet restaurant option.

Enjoyed the stay!

Liked: We really enjoyed our short stay - beautiful premises, nice comfortable room, very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Overall, great value for money!
Disliked: Breakfast lacked any fresh vegetables. The property was huge with many rooms, it felt like a maze and would initially take time to find the room :D
