Best lux staycation!!!

Liked: Historical place. Lots of interesting things along the hallway. Amazing bathroom and luxury toiletries. We didnt leave the estate as there was a lot of things to do and explore. Enjoyed the pool for hours! Polite and happy staff.
Disliked: Stairs to access rooms. Wooden floors above our room. Can hear children running around but thankfully was quiet at night.

Liked: The staff at reception were fantastic, and very helpful. They helped us with a room issue that we had, and sorted it all out very quickly. The room was great, the food was wonderful, and the whole experience was excellent!

The hotel was lovely but...

Liked: The hotel room was very comfortable and the bathroom and towels were great. The food was amazing in the restaurant and the service excellent. The breakfast was also really good.
Disliked: The pool was very disappointing. It had no outside windows, it is completely enclosed which gives it a difficult atmosphere. The ladies changing room was filthy with tissues all over the floor and seating and even a couple of used q-tips. There was also a strong smell of urine as if someone had peed on the floor. The bin for the towels was overflowing when we arrived but this was cleared away when we went back to change.
