Great staff, good value for...
Liked: Location is fine, there are numerous bars/restaurants within easy walking distance. The staff here are amazing, was made to feel very welcome.
Disliked: This place is lovely but the rooms a little dated, for the price though no complaints. Breakfast is always a hard one because everyone is different. For my Wife and I, the sausage and bacon were well over cooked, and if not wrong, pre cooked then reheated. I'd stay again but pay for breakfast elsewhere.

Disliked: Given today?s current situation aka the covid pandemic, we are all being assured that rooms will be cleaned in plenty of time prior to our arrival, and with extra care. There is even a sign in the rooms to confirm this. However, then I walked into the room I?d booked, it hadn?t been cleaned or tidied after the person prior to me left. I was then given the hotels ?only room left? probably because it?s the smallest room there. I asked if it was any cheaper - but I was told it wasn?t. After going for a walk (because I couldn?t bare to spend any more time than I?d have to in that room) and after having shedding some tears, I asked if the room I was original room I was meant to be in could be cleaned. This was done quickly and the staff were apologetic. But I still didn?t feel comfortable staying in there (even though this was a better option than that other proxy room) as the person has clearly just moved out and I felt that it wasn?t cleaned to the best of standards, given the current protocol with cleanliness. I?ve been assured at other hotels that they are cleaned at least 24hrs before the next person stays in there. Even though I was staying away with work - this was my own hard earned cash that I?ve had to fork out on what I can only describe as an awful experience. Not what I needed after a stressful day at work! And only the fact that I complained (something I don?t feel comfortable doing!), was the situation resolved.

Relaxing, interesting, and a very...
Liked: Due to the Covid-19 situation, there were certain safety restrictions within the hotel, but these were managed in a seemingly effortless way by the cheerful staff, and everything was sign-posted around the building, so at no time did we feel at any risk.
Lovely room. Shower was great. Breakfast was excellent value for money with several choices of cooked food. The location was exceptional - especially the wide expanse of the Alderley Edge forest walks.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Knutsford nearby was a charming little market town with lots of individual shops not seen in other high streets.
We'll definitely be back to explore more of the beautiful countryside and visit Tatton Park and the Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre, among other local attractions. This hotel is in the ideal location for so many interesting attractions
Disliked: Nothing. Everything was perfect for our short stay.
