Disliked: We booked 9 beds for 9 people (8 in one room and 1 in another) for one night. Upon arrival, it was immediately clear that the owner had no idea which beds were available. He went from room to room trying to verify availability, which is quite unprofessional considering it's a basic expectation for a hostel to track room assignments.Eventually, he found 4 beds in one room and 5 in another. While searching, he walked into a room where a guest was sleeping and spoke loudly on the phone, disturbing and waking the guest, which I found extremely disrespectful behavior.We reluctantly accepted the bed split, even though we had specifically requested a private room to ensure the safety of our belongings. Things escalated when the owner asked for an additional $280, claiming the Booking.com rate was incorrect, despite the original rate being around $100.We spent over 4 hours on calls with Booking.com and the owner trying to resolve the issue. Eventually, Booking.com offered to relocate us to a nearby motel and reimburse us for the cost.Before we left, the owner said, “I’ll accept you at the original price, but I can’t guarantee the safety of your belongings if you stay”, a comment we found extremely inappropriate and threatening. For our safety, we decided to leave the property and continue coordination with Booking.com.Overall, our experience was highly stressful and unprofessional. I would not recommend this property to any traveler.
