Disliked: Either the location is horrible or the hostel attracts homeless in the area. I did not enjoy my stay, it's hard to sleep with all the noise that's going on outside. During my stay there was an individual smoking crack in the room and when I brought the stuff they informed me she was actually an employee. No matter how many times I stated it is a smoke-free room and I paid for a smoke-free room nothing was ever done about her continuous bad habit. There is no hot water in the shower and the Air conditioner was never turned on. Even in 120° heat.

Good hostel, menace girl

Liked: The value, location, staff; great hostel. I’ve been here before and loved my time here.
Disliked: There is a young woman who has supposedly been here for several months as a volunteer worker who is a menace. She is consistently being a security risk by leaving doors open to the homeless. She regularly starts fights (verbal and physical) and records people. She knowingly sleeps in other people’s beds. She rolls blunts in the room, and apparently smokes in the room but I didn’t experience this. The hostel desperately needs a 24 hour front desk staff. FYI there are no longer any mixed dorms.

Liked: Nothing. I can’t highlight anything positive since I was not even allowed to access the property.
Disliked: My experience was completely disappointing. Even though I had a confirmed reservation and payment completed, I was denied entry by the staff, who insisted the booking was only for one person — even though it was clearly for two. The person who “welcomed” us was rude, unprofessional, and offered no solution at all. He demanded that I pay the full amount again to be allowed in.Neither the property nor Booking provided support. I had to find another place to stay at the last minute, incurring additional unexpected expenses. It’s unacceptable for a place to operate like this and treat guests this way. I do not recommend this property under any circumstance.
