Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Vancouver

Maids knocked on our door at like 9a.m. We didn't have the 'do not disturb' thing on the door but figured they wouldn't even try unless the people actually checked out. They knocked and I said "yes" but they still tried to open the door. Just seemed kinda early and pushy. People do sleep in past 9. Haha! Our key cards never really worked. Went back twice to get new ones and the third time only one card worked and that is only after trying it several times in the door :/ Would be nice if you had the guest binder in the room that had the local restaurants and such if you are not from the area.

Liked: Good location; easy check in.
Disliked: Maid service; key cards.

Liked: bed was comfortable and clean. quite quiet. like that.
Disliked: windows need replacing, need paper cups in bathroom. floor could be cleaner

Short, sweaty and stressful

Liked: The room property is close to the mall and other businesses. The room had a smart TV so we could stream other channels.
Disliked: No hot water. The AC did not work, the WiFi was terrible. Bed was as hard as a rock and the pillows were flat. There was a very large gap between the bed and the wall, so the pillows fell behind the bed constantly. At night there is no one at the front desk and the lobby doors were open. There were homeless or addicts in the lobby smoking dope and/or nodded off completely. The pictures in the room were on the ground and not on the wall. There was sticky stuff on the bathroom counterI tried to check out at 10:30 am but no one was on site to do so. I had to leave as the WiFi crashed and wanted to refund the other two nights. I mean, we couldn’t shower, the room was hot and I couldn’t even achieve the goal of the room which was to be able to work using the internet connection. After leaving the property at 10:30 am, I called for FIVE HOURS and couldn’t reach anyone! By the time I did get in contact, the woman told me she would “compensate” me for the room, yet, she didn’t check me out and I got charged for all 3 nights. I’ve still not received a refund for the time we didn’t stay due to the issues with the hot water, AC and internet..
