Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tuscaloosa - Univ. of Alabama

Disliked: The security fence on the property closed while we were going through it and caused damage to our Cadillac CTS. The hotel is refusing payment. We will be talking to our lawyer and will never stay at a Days Inn again. I actually feel like we deserve a refund of our money.

I would stay here again. The staff was very friendly and helpful; the room was very clean; good amenities.

Liked: Wonderful staff; clean, comfortable room.
Disliked: Room smelled sort of like popcorn.

Liked: Located near a Walmart which is convenient. Unlike my first experience at this hotel, there was no hair in the bathtub or bed when I arrived this time--they are clearly making an effort to improve.
Disliked: 1. Crossing to the bathroom from the sitting area resulted in my socks turning black--the carpet has not been cleaned in ages. 2. The cleaning service did not remove trash in the day time. 3. On some days, there was no meat at breakfast--in general the breakfast was inadequate, but it was about what you'd expect for a hotel of this price. 4. The floor in my room was covered in water when I arrived.

Liked: It was relatively cheap and located near a Walmart, which was convenient.

Disliked: I thought I reserved a room with king-size bed but got twin. Reserve room on lowest floor but got a room on second floor. There were no smoking area
