Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Traverse City

Wasn't a bad place to stay for the price........you can definitely tell it is an old motel.....the fridge in the jacuzzi suite didn't get very cold at all....but the room served it's purpose.....who knows I could stay here again... staff were really nice and I thought the continental breakfast was great.....

Disliked: I would like to mention the rude housekeeping supervisor Haley. Apparently there is a "new" policy at this Days Inn. Which I was not aware of. I had extended my stay the night before unaware that the new policy would require I move from the room I had been in for the last 2 nights. My Fiancé had surgery at the Detroit Veterans Center 48 hrs before he needed a couple more days to recover. Moving would have made it very difficult not to mention inconvenient and stressful. I asked to speak to the Manager on Duty. She started yelling at me in the hallway, threatening to call the police, basically out of control. She left and supposedly called the Manager and received "approval" to let us stay in the room. This entire situation could have been avoided if this property had a housekeeping supervisor that acted in a professional manor. This situation created allot of unnecessary stress for me. I will also be report this to Wyndham. We will never stay at this Holiday Inn in Traverse City, MI again.

Disliked: Hotel walls are thin, both nights, even with a fan on we could hear the neighbors' TV all night long. Could also hear the road traffic throughout the day and night. "Breakfast" is grab and go. Also had an issue with the rude housekeeping supervisor. Isuue was resolved in my favor, but only after the district manager was contacted. Great place

Liked: It was a wonderful romantic kinda get away for a night for me and the hubby we got a king room with a jacuzzi tub.The only downfall was there was no cold water to the tub at all and the hot water was so hot it took 3 hrs to cool off enough for us and we still couldn't even sit in it comfortably for long because it was so scolding hot our body's were so red after getting out but it was a wonder stay overall..
