terrible check-in process

Disliked: The check in process took an hour and half. For some reason the hotel staff refused to check me in as they wanted to double charge me even though I had paid through booking.com. After the excruciating struggle to check in at 4 AM they gave me dirty room. No bed sheets and burnt out mattress with trash in bathroom. Had to get checked in another room. I blame both the hotel and booking.com

Disliked: I made a reservation for a room with shower and tub and did not get the room I reserved

For the price it was...

Liked: The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious. Room was updated the kitchen area was nicely done. I believe with a nice deep clean to get the smoke smell out and the upgrades that seem to be happening the place will be a great stay.
Disliked: The place seems to be under construction. There was some cleaning that could have been done to the bathroom the inside of the shower was still dirty and the spa tub I guess we broke and leaking. Curtain had a few stains. you could smell smoke from a few rooms. and the vending machines where a bit pricey.
