Disliked: We waited at reception for two hours when we arrived to receive the keys. There was a line of more than 15 people long and only one person working at reception.

Liked: The bed was comfortable, and that was the ONLY thing I enjoyed.
Disliked: Other than the bed, the rest of the room was quite disappointing. The window sheer in the lviing room was torn which HAD to be noticed by housekeeping. Several particles of debris were visible on the carpet immediately under the bedroom window, indicating the area had not been vacuumed. There was only 1 face cloth provided in the bathroom. FILTHY hallway carpet on first floor which looked like it should have been replaced 20 years ago. I arrange for an IMPORTANT wake-up call as I was in Moncton for a medical procedure EARLY in the morning. That call never happened. Thankfully, I was awake already, so I KNOW with complete certainty that the call did not come to my room. There was significant melted water on the floor by an ice machine, which was immediately around the corner from the elevator on the first floor. It was close to an exit door. That melted water was there for my ENTIRE 2 day stay. The only thing done was to put a yellow pilon over the water, but it did not appear as though the water was ever mopped up. But what I found MOST disgusting was IMMEDIATELY outside the hotel's main entrance. There was a build-up of pidgeon shit. Immediately above that "display" was a torn awning which, by the looks of it, HAD to have been torn for some time!!!!!! SURELY, at least ONE employee would take enough pride in his/her job with Days Inn, or have enough self respect to have that DISGUSTING display removed by SOMEONE so that the Days Inn customers would not have to view it, or have to do a dance around it to enter the hotel? I stayed at this hotel approximately 6 years ago, and I do not recall it being ANYWHERE close to the rundown version I saw this past week. If this is considered as being "acceptable" for paying customers to be subjected to, then might I suggest they shut it down, PERMANENTLY!!!! I can say unequivocably, I will not be returning to this Days Inn. In fact, I think I'll just avoid ALL Days Inn on future trips.

Excellent quality and quiet stay

Liked: Laundry machines! From Alberta to New Brunswick not a single hotel had this option. But this place did! Clean quiet easy access for my dogs to be let out. All around great experience.

Disliked: Very uncomfortable beds and furniture I.e. sofa. Very hard to watch t.v.. because of location it was mounted.
